Development to Deployment: The Journey of Pythia
Octaeteris – Eight years later, on our eleventh anniversary, Pythia® is taking form.
Our goal is to build an application that produces better financial decision making and outcomes using behavioral finance concepts. We’ve gone through periods of interviewing developers to identify costs, seeking funding, and feeling like this may never work!
Last year, we invested significant time earning the Security+ certification to re-immerse myself in programming. Additionally, we earned a real estate (RE) license so that we may act as RE agents for our clients. We are still seeking brokers to consider for RE agent capabilities to come.
We are now nearing the deployment of a minimum viable product, with testing to begin in just about two weeks. Our commitment to continuous deployment (CD) and continuous integration (CI) ensures that we will keep setting new goals to broaden our suite of services and improve the user experience (UX).

- Assistant: Manage tasks, action items, calendars, gather data, draft docs, run analytics, and provide a unique dashboard by command
- Social Media Monitor: Analyze facial expressions on social media for deeper insights.
- Voice Commands: Enhance user interaction through voice-activated commands
Deployment Strategy
We are launching a Single Page Web Application first, with a mobile version to follow within 30 days. While we acknowledge the “mobile-first” approach, we started with the web app to accommodate our financial professionals. Our direct users may primarily use the mobile version, and we want to maintain a great experience across all devices.
